A Taste of Croatia – Njoki

The next Taste of Croatia session will feature Chelsea Ljutić, a Canadian Croatian who is here in NZ on a working holiday visa. She chatted to us at SlavFest and later offered to share her nona’s njoki recipe – we said yes immediately 🙂

The session will be run from 2-4pm on Sunday 12 October. Contact Dave Guerin (dave@ed.co.nz or 021 404 334) if you’d like to come along. Attendance is open to all, but we want to make sure we have enough food.

Our Taste of Croatia cooking sessions are mainly a demonstration, but we try to get people involved as much as possible. It’s a chance to learn about the history of a dish, how its made, and then try it at the end. There’s usually a few gaps for us to have a good chat. We start with a cuppa and the bar is often open towards the end.
